Brief History & Professional Experience
Upon graduating from High School, Greg joined the Navy to see the world and get some real world experience which he applies to his practice. Greg is a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served
his country for four (4) years and was honorably discharged. In addition to being stationed stateside
in Chicago, Illinois; Memphis, Tennessee; Norfolk, Virginia; and San
Diego, California, Greg served two (2) tours in the Persian Gulf aboard
the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Nimitz (1997), and U.S.S. Constellation
(1998). While serving in the U.S. Navy, Greg received numerous
ribbons and citations, inducted into the Order of the Shellback (for
crossing the equator), and the Order of Magellan (for circumnavigating
the globe). He was the sole recipient of an Honorary Bachelor of Science
Degree from the U.S.S. Constellation presented and endorsed by J.D.
Kelley, Captain and Commanding Officer during a special ceremony aboard
the Constellation, while moored abreast the Arizona Memorial, Pearl
Harbor, Hawaii. This honorary degree was presented as a reward for academic
excellence while pursuing his undergraduate degree and serving on active
duty. Mr. McIntyre's extensive travels and world experience contribute
to
a unique perspective and gained experiences, which he applies to
each and every case.
Greg attended the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University where he received his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
He also attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.). Greg served as Defense Counsel for the student government and student body while attending Campbell University.
Professional Activities, Bar and Court Admissions
Greg is a member of the North Carolina State Bar Association and the Cleveland County Bar Association. He is also licensed to practice in Federal Courts in the State of North Carolina.
